In photoshop, is there a way to use a brush tool to reduce the amount of red in a picture?

I know you can adjust the color balance of a whole photo or of a highlighted area, but is there a way to do it with a brush tool? like set the specifications, then brush over the area you want to change. it would be so much easier! Please tell me there's a way.

Web color mismatch between photoshop and web page

Hi,

I believe I have a mismatch with my colors on my stackexchange site.

I have designed my logo with Photoshop using the web color 0099ff, and configured my stackexchange to use the same color 0099ff as 'highlight' color.

Though, it looks to me like there is a mismatch when looking at the site.

Here is a snapshot and I believe there is a different blue in the logo (left) and the button (right):

Also, when looking at this snapshot with Photoshop, and checking the color again, Photoshop sees a different color: 2683fc for the logo blue, and 0098ff for the highlighted 'Questions' button.

What gives? This problem has been bugging me for a while. It's quite mysterious to me. Would really appreciate some help.

Hi,

I am new at html and all. I have some web color I use in html (for example: 555555), and would like to use the exact same color in Photoshop to create a logo. How do I find this exact same web color in Photoshop?
